「騰飛的歲月──1949年以來的香港文學」 研討會

中國文學,歷久彌新,基於歷史、地緣因素產生了不同地域的文學作品,雖然各有發展軌跡,但同時亦互為影響。近百年以來,中國文壇在中西文化的衝突和新舊文學的交替下發展。自1949年建國以後,能繼承民國初年西學風氣、兼容傳統中國文學理路、促進中西文化交流的,首推香港。不少論者直言香港文學在中國現當代文學中扮演了舉足輕重的角色。

由香港大學中文學院主辦、香港藝術發展局贊助的「騰飛的歲月──1949年以來的香港文學」研討會將於2008年4月28日至30日在香港大學舉行,屆時三十多位來自內地、台灣及本地的學者及作家將雲集香江,共同回顧及探索香港文學的發展。

研討會除了有專家學者發表論文外,大會更邀得香港浸會大學文學院院長鍾玲教授、香港大學明德教授單周堯教授、香港大學中文學院李家樹教授、香港中文大學翻譯系黃國彬教授、嶺南大學中文系許子東教授等學界翹楚主持研討會。香港大學中文學院署理主任楊玉峰教授對是次研討會期望甚殷:「我們希望這次『騰飛的歲月』學術研討會,能對半世紀的香港文學作出深入探討,希望綜合與會學者的睿見卓識,使涓涓細流的香港文學,終可以匯成滔滔江河。」

“Years of Flying High” –– A Symposium on Hong Kong Literature since 1949

The School of Chinese of The University of Hong Kong is pleased to present a conference entitled “Years of Flying High: Hong Kong Literature since 1949” and sponsored by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

An overarching theme of this symposium is the confluence of Chinese and Western traditions of different periods in the literary creations in Hong Kong.  This event will feature internationally renowned scholars from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, notably Professor Laurence K. P. Wong (The Chinese University of Hong Kong), Professor Chung Ling (The Baptist University), Professor Xu Zidong (Lingnan University) and Professor Wong Wai-leung (Fo Guang University, Taiwan), who will look backward and forward at the evolution of a range of distinctive literary genres, taking approaches that transcend disciplinary boundaries.  Issues concerning the trajectories of development of Hong Kong literature, which is generally regarded as an integral part of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, will be addressed from a variety of perspectives.
