魏艷博士，現當代文學助理教授，美國哈佛大學東亞語言與文明學系博士，研究範圍及興趣包括中國現當代文學，通俗小說與類型文學，華語語系文學，五六十年代香港流行文學與文化。
Dr. Wei Yan, Vivien joined the School of Chinese, HKU in 2021. She received her Ph.D degree in Modern Chinese Literature from Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. Her research covers Modern Chinese Literature, Popular Literature and Genre Studies, Sinophone Literature and Hong Kong Popular Literature & Culture during the 1950s and 1960s.
