作為中國動畫最知名的一張名片，孫悟空形象和故事深受國內外觀眾的喜愛，這可以看作是衡量中國文化“走出去”的一個代表性指標。自《鐵扇公主》於1941年上映後，有關孫悟空的動畫電影不斷湧現，其形象也不斷發生變化。孫悟空動畫形象的演變不僅折射出數十年間中國在社會及文化方面發生的巨大躍遷，亦反映了中西文化交流的歷程。本研究通過對不同時期孫悟空動畫形象進行深入研討，詳細分析孫悟空的形象變化的不同影響因素，包括政治、審美趨勢和市場等，嘗試梳理孫悟空形象變化的規律。同時，通過對比同時期國內外經典動畫作品，考察不同文化之間的跨文化交流現象，闡述文化流動與孫悟空視覺表達之間的關係，探討中西文化交流對中國傳統文化所帶來的影響。最後，本研究對中西文化互動在塑造中國動畫角色中所起的作用也進行了初步探索。

There is no doubt that Sun Wukong is one of the most beloved animated characters for the Chinese audience. The fact that Sun Wukong is also immensely popular with the Western audience, as who eagerly embraced both paper media and audiovisual programmes featuring this character, may be seen as an indicator of the acceptance of Chinese cultural elements by the West. With the release of Princess Iron Fan in 1941, animated films featuring Sun Wukong have proliferated and his image continues to evolve. In addition to being indicative of significant social and cultural changes in China during those decades, the evolving image of Sun Wukong also reflects intercultural exchanges between China and the West. This study attempts to discern the patterns of image evolution by analysing the features of Sun Wukong’s images in various periods, along with the influence of politics, aesthetic trends, and the market forces on these changes. By comparing animations of the same period at home and abroad, it will be followed by an examination of the intercultural flow between different cultures and how this impacted the visualisation of Sun Wukong. In the end, an exploration on how Chinese animations have been shaped by these intercultural interactions will be forwarded.
