以“動物敘事”這一特殊的題材類型作為研究範例，以類型學研究思路作為核心方法論依託，嚴格按照經由材料到結論的研究理路，立足于文本細讀與典型個案分析，實現由形式到內容、歷時與共時、橫向與縱向相結合的科學化研究，將展現出小說類型學理論建構的合理路徑與特殊價值。研究涉及到動物敘事類型學研究的神話歷史根源、敘事成規、深層結構等多個向度的科學化考察，試圖建構具有本土化特色的詩性動物敘事的批評範式。在“人、動物與自然”這一關係中，揭示出人類潛隱的倫理意識與思維理念當中的某個側面——對自身困惑、不安與危機的解釋與拯救的嘗試。

陳佳冀 文學博士，江南大學人文學院中文系主任、副教授兼碩士生導師。研究領域：生態文學與中國當代文學批評。澳大利亞國立大學與美國加州大學大衛斯分校訪問學者。中國文藝評論家協會會員，世界華文創意寫作協會理事，江蘇省作家協會會員，無錫市青年作協副主席。在《光明日報》、《文藝報》、《當代作家評論》、《南方文壇》、《小說評論》等刊物上公開發表學術論文70餘篇。主持並參與國家級、省部級課題多項。榮獲第七屆“啄木鳥杯”中國文藝評論年度優秀作品、江蘇省文藝大獎•首屆文藝評論獎等榮譽。
