Introduction

王愛和博士2000年開始在香港大學中文學院執教,2001年始任副教授。此前曾在美國普渡大學歷史系任教。王愛和博士研究範圍為中國歷史和人類學,研究題目包括中國古代宇宙觀、人的主體性、以及文革時期的地下藝術與群體。其代表性學術著作爲《中國古代宇宙觀與政治文化》(英文版,劍橋大學出版社, 2000,2006;中文版,上海古籍出版社2011)和《無名畫集》十三卷(中英文版,香港大學出版社, 2010)她近期主要研究項目包括(一)中國文革時期的地下文化 。(二)毛時代的日常生活歷史和記憶。她於2013年在普林斯頓高等研究院作研究員,寫作文革中的地下藝術與團體的專著。

 

Dr. Aihe Wang joined the School of Chinese at the University of Hong Kong in 2000, having previously taught in the Department of History at Purdue University in the United States since 1995. Dr. Wang’s research spans the fields of Chinese history and anthropology, with topics ranging from ancient cosmology and political agency, to art, subjectivity, and community in Mao’s China. Representative publications include Cosmology and Political Culture in Early China (Cambridge University Press, 2000, 2nd edition 2006) and the Wuming (No Name) Painting Catalogue, 13 volumes (Hong Kong University Press, 2010). She has held a GRF grant from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (“Underground Culture during the Cultural Revolution,” 2007-2010) and is currently a co-investigator for the project “Everyday History and Memory of the Mao Era” (funded by the French National Research Agency / Research Grants Council Joint Research Scheme). In 2013 she was a residential member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, working on a book project on underground art during Mao’s Cultural Revolution.
