田野博士，貝爾法斯特女王大學翻譯研究畢業，研究興趣為翻譯哲學與理論、符號學、翻譯倫理、翻譯與生態等。博士畢業後，他在曼徹斯特中國研究院、利物浦大學、杜倫大學、里茲大學等機構從事博士後研究工作，又在曼徹斯特大學、西安交通利物浦大學等高校執教。2025年，其專著《翻譯國家》于勞特裡奇出版社出版。他目前擔任Scopus語言學一區期刊《譯學新聲》期刊發行編輯，同時，他也是《翻譯研究》《譯者》《巴別塔》等著名翻譯期刊匿名評審。

Dr Ye Tian obtained his PhD in Translation Studies from Queen’s University Belfast. He is interested in translation philosophy and theory, semiotics, translation and ecology etc. After graduating from the PhD research, he conducted post-doctoral research at various higher education institutions including Manchester China Institute, University of Liverpool, Durham University, and University of Leeds. Before joining HKU, Ye Tian taught in a range of universities including University of Manchester and Xi’an-Jiaotong Liverpool University. His monograph, Translation Nations, was published by Routledge in 2025. He is now the Production Editor for Scopus Q1 journal New Voices in Translation Studies, and he also works as a peer reviewer for renowned journals in Translation Studies, including Translation Studies, The Translator, and Babel.
