Introduction

陳英凱博士,現任香港大學中文學院講師兼香港文化研究文科碩士課程統籌。早年任職康樂及文化事務署,負責統籌及推廣藝術表演節目;其後任教於香港中文大學專業進修學院,負責統籌學院通識學科及國民教育學科的教學與考評工作,並獲學院頒發卓越教學獎。陳博士亦獲邀擔任香港管弦樂團中文顧問,提供學術意見。個人研究成果曾獲選與中國移動、雅虎香港及數碼通共同開發為創意內容項目。

 

個人研究領域包括香港文化、後殖民研究、風水與城市文化、名字美學。

 

Dr. Anthony Chan is a Lecturer at the School of Chinese, The University of Hong Kong, and Programme Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Hong Kong Cultural Studies. Early in his career, he worked at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, where he was responsible for coordinating and promoting arts and cultural performances. He subsequently joined the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he oversaw the teaching and assessment of General Education and National Education courses, and was honoured with the Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Chan also serves as an Advisor of Chinese for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. His research has led to collaborative creative content projects with China Mobile, Yahoo Hong Kong, and SmarTone.

 

His research interests include Hong Kong Culture, Postcolonial Identity, Feng Shui and Urban Culture, and Onomastics.
