Dear School of Chinese Alumni,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Pei-yin Lin, and I am currently the Head of the School of Chinese (formerly known as Department of Chinese). I am writing to share some exciting updates about our school and to invite you to reconnect with us as we approach a momentous milestone.
Over the years, our school has thrived, reaching a record high of 1,700 students annually in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Culture, Translation, and Hong Kong Studies. Our 32 full-time, globally-minded faculty members are dedicated to teaching. They also conduct cutting-edge research in collaboration with international partners, publishing in prestigious journals in both English and Chinese. Our growing alumni network boasts successful professionals and leaders across various industries, and we take great pride in your accomplishments.
